– build up to a heavy single
Suggested rep scheme 10-5-5-4-3-2-1-1….
 
Then
 
50 strict handstand pushups* for time.
-every break perform 10 hollow rocks
*scaling includes- reducing reps, performing from a box or from the floor, performing seated shoulder presses (dumbbell or barbell)

Clean from Launch (top of the knee)
-5 sets of 5 reps
scale by feel up to no more than 60% clean
 
2A: Max thruster
2B: Max rope climbs (+ double-under tie-breaker)
Event 2 takes place on an 8:00 running clock:
0:00-5:00: Establish 1RM thruster
5:00-6:00: Transition
6:00-8:00: Max rope climbs
8:00-9:00: Max double-unders (tie-breaker)

Every 2 minutes: snatch work
Sets 1-3: 1 below the knee+1 above the knee+ 1 high hang snatch
Sets 4-6: two snatches (drop from the top)
Sets 7-9- heavy single. Go for 1RM
Progressively get as heavy as possible for each exercise

Then
3R (not for time):

-5/per arm turkish get-ups
-75 double-unders or db under practice for 2:00 minutes

-5 strict toes-to-bars
-5 strict knees-to-elbows
-10 toes-to-bars
-10 jefferson curls… unweighted or light weight (less than one tenth of your body weight)
-20 back extensions
-20 hip extensions
