This is week 5 of our current strength program! Be sure to warm up separately for each movement. For example: warm up push press with the empty bar, and warm up with unweighted pull ups. Working with a partner is a good idea here, even if the gym is not crowded. Take a look at your notes from last week for your working weights today. If you missed the last Tuesday or two, no worries! There’s no better time to start. Calibrate your weight increase each week, so that by the end of 7 weeks you’ll be on track to match your 5 and 3 rep max weights for 5 sets. A good target is a 5% increase per week. This allows you to focus on technique so that you don’t hit a stalling point in the upcoming weeks. WOD 1
For 8 minutes the group drags the large tire as far as they can. Divide labor any how you like.
 
WOD 2
Partner WOD. Pairs or triplets if needed
 
18 min AMRAP
-15 tire flips (divide labor any how you like)
-20 pushups with hands on tire and feet on ground. One partner works at a time. Stay in hollow body position (yes, I know it sounds easy now)
-20 tire jumps. (like box jump but onto the tire)
One partner works at a time. Suggest alternating partners
-200m tire roll.

WOD 2 = 4 rounds not for time. Adjust weight by round
-8/8 DB bulgarian split squats (ideally db in each hand)
-:30 hollow rock/hold
-8/8 single leg deadlifts
-12 hip extensions

-30 m Prowler Sprint (High) 50/25 lbs
-10 Kettlebell Thrusters (54/36/24)
-30 m Prowler Sprint (Low) 50/25 lbs
-10 Double Kettlebell Swings (54/36/24)
 
Partner 1 Push Prowler 30 m with 50lbs worth of plates and two Kettlebells attached to the top front (low bucket)handles–high sprint
 
Then immediately Perform 10 Double Kettlebells Thrusters (53/36)
 
Partner 2 Pushes Prowler 30 yards with top front (low bucket)handles–low sprint
 
Then immediately Perform 10 Double Kettlebell Russian Swings (53/36)
 
Then partners switch roles
 
Go till all have completed 4 full trips
